Dr. Edgar Wilson

(1937 – 2020), Founder

Suffragan Bishop Dr. Edgar C. Wilson is the founder and first President of CornerStone Academy of Biblical Studies.  He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors.  He has been the visionary in the development and implementation of this Academy founded in 1995.  His desire was to form an accredited Bible College to provide a high quality, systematic program of studies to enhance, equip and qualify individuals for service in Christian ministries.

Dr. Wilson holds an earned Doctorate of Divinity-Suma Cum Lauda from the International University of Grace and Truth, U.S.A. He holds the accreditation of Certified Professional Auditor (received in 1975).

Dr. Wilson is currently the Pastor of CornerStone House of Refuge Apostolic Church, Ottawa, Canada and has been since its inception in April 1992. Prior to this he served for 18 years as the Assistant Pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Ottawa, Canada; and 4 years as Pastor of Bethany Apostolic Church, Montreal, Canada.  Dr. Wilson has been a pioneer in the development and launch of the Canada District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc, in August 2007.  In May 2008 he was elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop. In addition, to his many accolades he has at various times served as: Director of Christian Education, New York and Canada Diocese, member of the Executive Board of the Canadian Apostolic Ministries, and Chairman Canada District Council.
